CLASSIFIED ADVERTISING & MAILING INSTRUCTIONS A minimum of 10 words is required for classified ads. Prepayment discounts are as follows: 5% for six months, 10% for 12 months. COMMISSIONS AND TERMS Agency commission: 15% of gross provided full payment is received within 30 days of invoice date. All invoices are payable upon receipt. Accounts not paid within these terms are subject to a late-payment finance charge computed at 1.5% per month (18% annual percentage rate) on any balance outstanding 30 days or more after billing date.

SPECIAL POSITION Add 10% per issue.

INSERTS Furnished inserts at black and white earned rate, less 10%. Additional mechanical inserting charges may be required. Other inserts and gatefolds are available; rates and specifications provided on request. Each side of an insert counts as one page, regardless of its dimensions. Charges do not include printing.

BLEED Accepted for 1/2 page horizontal, 2/3 page, 1/3 page vertical and full pages only.

* Contracts for 1/6 page or more earn the 6- or 12-time rate on larger space units up to 2/3 page when used within the contract year. Contracts for 1/3 page or more earn the 6- or 12-time rate on all larger space units when used within the contract year. The special rate may be used in combination with the four-color rates below to earn the most favorable black & white rate.

*** The rates apply whenever 12 full pages or more are used during the contract period.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
General. By signing the AOPA Media Insertion Agreement, the Insertion Agreement and these Terms and Conditions shall constitute the entire agreement (“Agreement”) between Customer and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (“AOPA”) regarding the publishing, public distribution and solicitation of Customer content in any AOPA Pilot, AOPA.org,or any related or affiliated media or publications in print, online, web/digital editions, video or otherwise of AOPA. Customer may use AOPA’s advertising insertion placement services (“Services”) only in accordance with this Agreement. This Agreement shall further apply to Agencies representing client and/or conducting business on behalf of another company in placing advertising with AOPA. No other contract or terms concerning your use of the Service may be created in any manner, unless expressly agreed to by AOPA in writing.

Payment. Payment is due Net 30 days from date of invoice. If payment is not received by AOPA by the due date and unless otherwise provided in the Agreement, then at AOPA's discretion (a) such charges may accrue interest at the rate of 1.5% of the outstanding balance per month, or the maximum rate permitted by law, whichever is lower, from the date such payment was due until the date paid, and/or (b) AOPA may immediately cease the term of the Agreement and pursue any remedies it may have in law or equity. Should AOPA be required to seek the services of an attorney/collection agency to enforce its rights under this Agreement, AOPA shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney fees, legal costs, and other collection fees and costs incurred by that party in connection with such action, if AOPA is to prevail.

Rates. All Insertion Orders are accepted subject to provisions of the applicable rate card. All conditions, terms and rates are subject to change by AOPA without notice. Should a change in rates be made, space reserved may be cancelled by the Customer at the time the change becomes effective without incurring short rate charges, provided the advertisements published are consistent with the applicable agreed upon frequency or volume.

Terms and Termination. The Initial term of this Agreement shall be in accordance with the terms in the signed Insertion Agreement form and may be terminated by either Party no later than the published space closing date noted in the applicable Media Kit or rate card. This Agreement and any applicable Insertion may be terminated for cause upon material breach of any of the obligations per this Agreement which have not been cured upon thirty (30) days written notice to the breaching party.

Content and Changes. By using the Services, the Customer grants to AOPA the non-exclusive right to use Customer provided content and any applicable and related Intellectual Property rights in Trademark and Copyright needed to perform in accordance with the applicable scope of work in the Insertion. Customer warrants that nothing in the Customer content is defamatory, libelous, or invades the rights of privacy of any person. Customer further warrants that no part of the Customer content provided to AOPA infringes the Intellectual Property right of any 3rd party. Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless AOPA from any claim in law or equity that results from the content provided by Customer to AOPA. Customer agrees that: (a) Publication of the advertisement shall be solely at the discretion of AOPA and (b) AOPA shall have the right to remove the customer advertisement content as needed and appropriate. Positioning of the advertisements shall be at the discretion of AOPA. Cancellations or changes in the order may not be made by the Customer after the applicable issue closing date.
